Our electrical contracting services

With decades of service management experience, we take great pride in the services we provide to our clients in the social housing electrical sector.  Our technical expertise enables us to deliver the following solutions.

Testing, inspections & repairs

Our team carries out periodic inspections and electrical testing within residential homes. We inspect all circuits, systems, and electrical fixtures to make sure they are the correct type, installed correctly, not damaged or defective, and comply with relevant standards. After inspection, we will test each system to ensure adherence to particular laws and compliance standards for tenant safety.

Electrical rewiring

We offer full, partial, kitchen, and bathroom electrical rewiring services for residential homes. For the sake of regulatory changes, safety, energy efficiency, and improved usability, rewiring a property can make a huge long-term impact. As an NICEIC-approved contractor, we will ensure that every rewire meets wiring regulations, and provide appropriate certification. We’ll also work professionally and flexibly, considering each individual tenant’s needs and responsibly remove and dispose of waste.

new consumer unit installations

From initial layout design works, to installing the main electrical consumer unit, we ensure each property has a safe, protected, and future-proof power supply. Consumer Units are a crucial, complex system that requires technical expertise and quality controls during the installation. Our team manages the entire installation process, including connections to the incoming supply and compliance verifications and installation quality checks.

Electric heating systems

Energy efficiency is becoming a priority for modern social housing and local authorities. We can remove existing inefficient and outdated heating and hot water systems and install modern efficient electric storage heaters and hot water systems at competitive prices. We specialise in the electrical installation and maintenance of low-carbon heating systems to reduce both energy bills and carbon footprints. We are a PAS 2030 accredited team, assuring our quality delivery of these upgrades for retrofit schemes.

Electric ventilation systems

To combat dampness and poor air quality issues and mould that can be found in some residential homes, and as an NICEIC Competent Scheme Member for Mechanical Ventilation, we supply and install high performance electric ventilation systems at competitive prices. We ensure that extractor fans, ductwork, and ventilation units are correctly specified, installed, and calibrated for adequate airflow and improved air quality. This helps to protect tenant health and safety while preserving the property from any damage.

Electrical upgrades

To improve tenant comfort and safety while modernising social housing properties, we carry out essential electrical upgrades. We can upgrade electrical protection devices,  powerpoints, electric accessories and fittings, and the home’s power and lighting circuits to ensure adherence to the most up-to-date standards. Our team will complete site surveys beforehand to correctly assess and advise on which parts of a system need improving for safety, efficiency, longevity, and legal compliance.
